Unattended fruit trees provide a breeding ground and can fuel the spread of QFF.
The removal of fruit trees should be considered if you are unable to take appropriate measures to control QFF in your garden.

The Free Urban Fruit Tree Removal Program is offered in the Shires of Campaspe, Greater Shepparton, Moira and Strathbogie and runs throughout July, August and September. The program has been extended until the end of February 2018 due to increased demand.

Tree removal applications are individually assessed and trees removed by a registered and insured private contractor at no cost
to the property owner. Applications are available from the Customer Service Desk of participating Councils.
