Airborne releases of Sterile Fruit Flies for Cobram
Queensland fruit fly (Qfly) populations in and around Cobram will be disrupted by the release of sterile Queensland fruit flies as part of a national Hort Innovation project.

The Goulburn Murray Valley’s defence against Queensland Fruit Fly (QFF) will be bolstered thanks to a recently announced $709,920 Victorian Government grant to continue the delivery of a Regional Fruit Fly Action Plan to fight the pest.

Recent cool weather has brought relief for Queensland Fruit Fly (QFF) control across the
region.
