Queensland Fruit Fly (QFF) remains a serious threat to the region despite the end of the
season approaching for many of the host fruit and vegetables grown in the Goulburn Murray
Valley.

The removal of fruit trees should be considered if you are unable to take appropriate measures to control QFF in your garden.

The Free Urban Fruit Tree Removal Program is offered in the Shires of Campaspe, Greater Shepparton, Moira and Strathbogie and runs throughout July, August and September. The program has been extended until the end of February 2018 due to increased demand.
